Ketonic resin is a multi-functional aldehyde-ketone resin designed for inks and coatings. It effectively enhances gloss, adhesion, and pigment wetting performance. The resin offers good compatibility with most solvent-borne systems and is suitable for printing ink, surface coating, and adhesive applications.

Soluble in almost all paint solvents such as aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, and esters. However, it is insoluble in water. Its solubility in non-polar solvents such as mineral oil, aliphatic hydrocarbons, and alicyclic hydrocarbons is limited.
Dissolve into solvents to prepare a 50–70% resin liquid, then add it into coatings or oil ink formulas. The general addition percentage is 5–30% of the formula's total mass.
