DR-2170 features uniform particle size and shape, high melting point, excellent transparency, and easy dispersion. Suitable for solvent-based coatings, it provides effective matting while improving scratch resistance and blocking resistance under higher temperatures.
DR-2170 exhibits synergistic effects, helping prevent precipitation of silica matting agents. When used with silica, the recommended silica to polypropylene wax ratio is approximately 1:1 to 4:1.
In powder coatings applications, DR-2170 enhances hardness and scratch resistance, assists in matting, and produces no smoke during 180°C baking processes.
Store away from ignition sources and strong oxidants. Shelf life: Two years.
